Holi 2024 in India is celebrated on Monday, March 25, 2024. March 24 is th time for Holika Dahan. The celebration of the fairs and festivals in Rajasthan is a core intrinsic part of its vibrant culture. For making an unforgettable pleasant experience during the golden triangle tour of India, we have designed a customized travel itinerary covering the Festival of Color- Holi for a delightful feel of becoming part of this extraordinary celebration. The in-depth tour of the enigmatic cities of Delhi Jaipur and Agra will be covered during the month of February or March (planned as per the dates of Holi festival).



Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi Arrival

After your arrival at Delhi airport, you will be greeted by our representatives and they will transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. A half day tour of the city can be scheduled depending upon the time of arrival in the city. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi Same Day Sightseeing Tour

In the morning, visit India Gate, a monument dedicated to the brave soldiers of the country, Red Fort one of the brilliant artworks of Mughals constructed using red sandstone by Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid constructed using red sandstones and marbles alternatively and is one of the largest mosques of India will be covered in quit detail. Next, visit Lotus Temple constructed in the form of flower shaped petals’ and Qutub Minar built after defeating the last Hindu King in Delhi reflecting Indo-Islamic architecture. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra

Post breakfast the tour will head towards Agra- city of landmarks of Mughals. Upon reaching there, check into the hotel and relax for a while. After that visit, Agra Fort lies parallel to river Yamuna and comprises many places like Jahangir's Palace, Khaas Mahal and you will also come across the place where Shah Jahan was held prisoner by his son Aurangzeb. Next, pay a visit to the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah also known as Jewel Draft due to its walls encrusted with semi-precious stones and offers stunning views of the surroundings of lush green meadow.  Next, enjoy the leisure walk at Mehtab Bagh. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.

Day 4: Taj Mahal Sunrise Tour – Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur

Early in the morning, enjoy the mesmerizing sunrise views at Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife on the bank of River Yamuna. After having your breakfast you will be transferred to Jaipur 
also known as Pink City.

Fatehpur Sikri Tour

En-route Fatehpur Sikri built and founded by Mughal Emperor Akbar to honor Sufi Saint Salim Chisti. Visit Buland Darwaza built by Akbar to commemorate his victory over Gujarat, Diwan-e-Khas private audience hall of Akbar, Diwan-I-Aam public audience hall of Akbar, Jodha Bai Palace also known as Mariam-uz-Zamani Palace reflecting blend of Rajput and Islamic architectural style. Next pay a visit at the Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti made of carved white marbles, reflecting fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture and is covered from intricate carved marble sheets “jaalis” from all sides.

Jaipur Arrival

Continue your drive towards Jaipur. After comfortable check-in to the hotel, you will be taken to the Nahargarh Fort to catch the mind-blowing view of the city after sunset. After the light and show at Amer Fort you will be dropped off to the hotel.

Night stay will be in Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur Full Day Sightseeing Tour

After having a refreshing breakfast, a full day excursion of Jaipur will begin. Visit Amer Fort situated on hilltop, overlooking Maota Lake comprises many palaces like Sukh Mahal, Sila Devi Temple and enjoy scenic views through the amazing structures inside the fort crafted in bygone era. Next visit will be Hawa Mahal famous for its Jharokha which was built for royal ladies, City Palace situated in the heart of the city comprising Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. Chandra Mahal offers spectacular views of the city and Mubarak Mahal has been converted into a museum which houses attractive stuff like costumes, crowns, and armor used by the former Kings.

Visit Jantar Mantar, one of the largest astronomical observatory with largest sundial on earth. Later on, explore the streets and try out some shopping. The effect of the festival season can be clearly seen from every nook and corner of the city. Shops loaded with varieties of colors along with local sweets will make you go gaga over selecting your travel duration particularly at this time of the year. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.

Day 6. Holi Festival Celebration in Jaipur

The days will begin with the bash of festival celebration. You will be transferred to the venue where pre-arrangement for safe and joyful celebration with local as well as like-minded people will rule the day. Music, food, games and everything loaded with joyous festivals will drench you in the feel of a festival of color. 
Come back to the hotel after summing up the celebration and spend the rest of the time at your leisure.

Day 7: Delhi Departure
