From a small street vendor to the biggest shopping mall, from an infant to an old age individual, everything during this festival in the country, especially in North India, seems ready to celebrate it with full vigour. To make your experience a memory to cherish your lifetime, we have planned Jaipur City to bring you to the heart of the Diwali celebration. The 6 days guided tour of the cities of Delhi and Agra is also a part of this customized tour itinerary with a grand celebration of the Festival of Lights. 



Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi Arrival

Your arrival will be greeted and assisted by the tour manager. After checking in to the hotel, get relaxed for the rest of the day. 

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing Tour

After grabbing a delicious breakfast, the full tour of Delhi City will begin in the company of an experience tour Humayun Tomb, Lodhi Garden & Mughal Garden (suggestible in the season other than peak summers), Qutub Minar, Iron Pillar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Akshardham Temple are the main attractions in the day tour of Delhi.

Evening time you will be taken to Connaught place to visit an entirely different part of the city with a taste of slurpy food from the best food joints. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra

Post breakfast the tour will head towards Agra- city of landmarks of Mughals. Agra Day tour will begin with the romantically and architecturally beautiful Taj Mahal which took almost 22 years to get completed on the instructions of Shah Jahan, son of Akbar. He was a keen lover of art and the same is evident in the ornate designs on pillars, roofs and windows of Taj. Pearl Mosque inside the complex of Taj is another attraction.

Agra fort also known as Red Fort is famous for its Musamman Burj where Shah Jahan was captivated in the last days of his life. This place is adjacently opposite to Taj.

Idmad-ud-Daula is the tomb of the Father of Mumtaz Mahal who was very beautiful and wife of Shah Jahan, this monument was constructed in order to pay tribute to her father who served loyally in the royal court as chief of army.

Day 4: Agra – Jaipur
Early in the morning, enjoy the mesmerizing sunrise views at Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife on the bank of River Yamuna. After having your breakfast, you will be transferred to Jaipur also known as Pink City. 

On the way to Jaipur, a stopover at Fatehpur Sikri (UNESCO Heritage Site) built and founded by Mughal Emperor Akbar to honour Sufi Saint Salim Chisti. Visit Buland Darwaza built by Akbar to commemorate his victory over Gujarat, Diwan-e-Khas private audience hall of Akbar, Diwan-I-Aam public audience hall of Akbar, Jodha Bai Palace also known as Mariam-uz-Zamani Palace reflecting blend of Rajput and Islamic architectural style. Next pay a visit to the Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti made of carved white marbles, reflecting fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture and is covered from intricate carved marble sheets “jaalis” from all sides.

Continue your drive towards Jaipur. Night stay will be in Jaipur.

Day 5: Half day Sightseeing and Diwali Celebration at Jaipur

After having a refreshing breakfast, a full day excursion of Jaipur will begin. Visit Amer Fort situated on hilltop, overlooking Maota Lake comprises many palaces like Sukh Mahal, Sila Devi Temple and enjoy Elephant ride. Next visit will be Hawa Mahal famous for its Jharokha which was built for royal ladies, City Palace situated in the heart of the city comprising Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. Chandra Mahal offers spectacular views of the city and Mubarak Mahal has been converted into a museum which houses attractive masterpieces of historic times like costumes, crowns, armoury used by the former Kings. Visit Jantar Mantar, one of the largest observatories in India.

Soon after the city tour, you will be dropped off to the hotel to get ready for the evening celebration.  In the grand premises of the heritage property a proper Diwali celebration will be enjoyed in a traditional way. Becoming part of the worship of Goddess Laxmi followed by lighting of crackers, music, drinks and gala dinner along with the tour of the decorated walled city will become the most cherished part of the tour plan.

Day 6. Delhi Departure

Soon after breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred back to Delhi with the help of an escorting tour driver. This tour will end with your drop off to the Delhi Airport
